We were so happy to find this item online. Instead of buying a new blender we easily fixed the one we have as good as new. It was more than easy to remove the broken part and install the new one. Probably saved myself [$] in the end by repairing rather that replacing.

When replacing, do remember you have to remove base, stabilize shaft with screwdriver, then remove old Blade Driver Clutch (broken wheel gear)in a clockwise direction ( looking down at it). These are reverse threads. Other than that, easy fix.
