Once the new blades were in, it works like new. Blends most anything, but I've got to be careful if I've overloaded it with thick chunks and not enough fluid to get it going. Motor could be a little more powerful for heavier duty, but I'm happy with it.

I have a standard Osterizer blender - nothing fancy. The item that came was pretty cheezy and it dit NOT fit the blender! It was definitely not made by Oster as advertised. When I installed it and turned it on, it scratched up the inside of the blender since the two lower blades rubbed against the inside of the blender. Even the gasket was poor quality. HUGE waste of money.

We have an old Oster blender and thought we would have to toss it because the gasket was worn out. I ordered a new one with a new blade and the blender is ready for action. We have not used it yet but we are pleased to have it ready. Thank you.

I use this product to grind ginger/garlic. THis particular blade (cutter) which looks different than the original is shaped differently and doesn't grind very well. It leaves chunks of ginger and garlic behind. The gasket also slips on the jar and it chewed up the new gasket. I am now using the old one from my original jar. - need more care than the old one. But a necessacity.

I was pleased to find the part available, as I was really looking for a cutter for a Lady Kenmore Blender. I was concerned that the real manufacturer no longer made the part, since the Blender is over 25 years old. However, I found out the Blender was built by Oster, and was even more gratified to find the Oster part for this very old Blender were still available through TotalVac. The Blender works as good as new, and produces some of the world's finest Smoothies and Margaritas. Thanks, Pete
