I have had my G4 kirby vacume for about 15 years , and it has had alot of use. I saw the parts on your site and decided to replace them myself. I had trouble getting the old one off because of some surface rust, but, with alot of WD40 lubricant, I managed to remove the old part and replace the new parts, My vacume runs like brand new. It was easier than I thought it would be, I appreciate your site. I have one issue maybe you can help me with. I ordered 2- 1 gallon mint spurge antibacterial cleaner, I recieved one of the gallon jugs, but, I am still waiting on the second one to arrive. It has been about 6 weeks. Can you look into this for me? Jane Bell

I had never worked on a kirby vacuum, but I found that this fan was easy to install. Just took a few minutes to take vacuum apart to get to it.

The fan fit just like it should, and works great. I didn't know the fan could wear out, but it's good to be able to purchase replacement parts. My Kirby works great again.

This replacement part for my vacuum was an exact match. It fit perfectly and continues to perform well. If your vacuum is experiencing reduced performance and a loud whine it is probably due to a worn vacuum fan. You should replace it to bring performance back up to peak and reduce the sound back to normal levels.
