After years of faithful service the top piece of my Cuisinart food processor broke. If I had not been able to replace this piece I would have been forced to purchase a new one which most likely would not have been as good as mine and extremely expensive. Now I look forward to many more years of service from my unit.

Web site is a bit difficult to use, never quite sure if their part number matches your old one since they add letters without explanation. But I did get the right part and am very satisfied

I bought this model when it was fairly new on the market and quite expensive. With time, the plastic became brittle: First the bowl couldn't lock anymore and when I changed it, the cover and feedind tube didn't fit properly. I am delighted as I, now have a "new" Cuisinart. I used for everything: chopping, slicing (I have several discs) making mayonnaise, pates, etc.

They sent me the wrong one but replaced it with the correct one in fairly good time. All's well that ends well.
