My old coffee lid had a lot of buildup in the drip-drain and there was a problem with coffee over-flow whenever I brewed a pot. I purchased this one and the problem has been eliminated completely (woohoo!). The only thing I will recommend to other buyers is to make sure it's the right size for your pot. Although it screws in perfectly, the lid itself has a bit of an overhang (that's my own fault for not checking the model numbers). BUT it still works and it's way better than the broken one AND I get my hot, delicious coffee in my cup and tummy, not on the counter and floor! Thanks guys.
