I seal all variety of meats, buy on sale and freeze, by sealing shelf life is extended several months. I cook large portions of various meals and bag and seal for easy access when time to eat in a hurry. I fish every chance I get, I process my catch and seal what is not going to be eaten, with in a day or two. keeps fish freah tasting for several months!!!

I use them for freezing and can't see how they are different from brand names. There is the strip for writing but I can write on the generic without a strip. I am so glad to pay less for bags mostly because I don't really have to reuse them.

I have found so many uses that I use these bags almost daily. I especially like freezing leftover meats and pizza slices. Keeps fridge foods fresher longer too! Will need to re-order sooner than I thought.
