Comments: Works great. Not as loud as my other vacuum head. Lightweigt and easy to manuever. Like the locking mechinism in the head to hold the handle upright when not in use. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: When our custom home was built in 1992 we had a Vacu-Maid central vacuum system installed. The system came with an air driven carpet cleaning head that worked for 18 years. However, we were never really satisfied with it's performance. It just didn't seem to have much power.Well...after purchasing the Turbo Cat from TotalVac, we finally feel like the system is working like it was intended to. The Turbo Cat has twice the power that the old unit did. It uses a much larger turbine wheel, it's wider and the carpet beater brush is bigger. Overall it is a huge improvement over our old one. Now I wish we had upgraded the original one sooner.The only negative is that it's a little noisy due to the larger turbine, but still not any louder than most electric vacuum cleaners. I would defineately recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their current air driven vacuum system[...] |
