This was a replacement attachment for a very old Electrolux. I was worried it would not fit or work with such an old machine (30+ years?). But it seems to be perfect. Our old attachment had literally fallen apart. The new one seems to be identical except that the front edge of the brush is "toothed" so there are gaps here and there in the brush. I guess this is so that bigger objects can get sucked up. Using the new one is like a dream--it moves so fluidly, angles well, and slides under objects like couches much more easily. We should have gotten it sooner! The only thing is I wish I could find a new metal wand for the part that attaches directly to this attachment, as ours is a bit misshapen.

This new vacuum head has given new life to my 60 year old vacuum cleaner. I had been using an old, beat up attachment head, and it finally broke. This new head fit perfectly, it's improved suction and the brush works great on my rugs.

Was able to use the rug tool with my very old Electrolux. Was able to attach it using my existing connector - the plastic one sent with the head did not fit. Good rug tool - gets up the pet hair. Would like to be able to buy without the connector.
