It was wonderful to find a company that sells replacement parts for shop vacs. All of the big box chains sell the vacs, and the common accessories, but none sell this replacement part. Without it the filter will not stay on so the vac cannot be used for dry. The price was great, and best of all I did not have to buy a whole new vac. Thanks again!

powerful, really long hose, gets underneath cabinets-i have the one for car that hangs on the wall and one for outside that i use in the garden.. both wonderful the garden one really sucks up the leaves.the one i use in the garden is the really large one with wheels

Don't lose these, or things will fall apart - literally. They hold the filter on your vac. Necessary evil to replace them. I bought 3 the last time so I wouldn't come up short the next time I make a filter change and misplace the cap.

Apparently when I removed my old filter, I left this part on it (attached by a thick layer of dirt). This OEM replacement screws into place and keeps the filter from falling to the bottom of the collection bin, which is exactly what you'd expect a filter retainer to do.
