read previous comments re: purchasing a new central vac unit vs. replacing the motor. I opted to replace the motor. great suggestion! the motor was easy to install, works as like a new system. this choice saved money and the vac is running like new!

I wore out the motor on my Electrolux central vacuum - I often run it 3 times a day when the kids are home. This replacement motor [...] fit perfectly with no modifications needed. The wires were labeled and easy to connect - although some of the wires had a slightly different label from the wires on the old motor, it was still easy to figure out what went where.
